Hi, I’m Andy Noble
I’m a qualified Mechanic & Auto Electrician and I know how to get your vehicle running perfectly.
With over three decades of experience under my belt, my passion for working on cars, providing sound advice and helping customers save money continues to remain as strong as ever. There’s a certain satisfaction in diagnosing issues and providing practical solutions to vehicle owners, whether it’s a routine maintenance task or a complex repair.
Throughout my journey, I’ve worked extensively on a wide range of vehicles, spanning from timeless classics to high-performance exotics and everything in between, including both European and Japanese brands. Restoring cars to showroom condition and rewiring and rebuilding engines was part of my qualified training. I also established and managed workshops and trained technicians in the auto-electrical and mechanical fields.
Additionally, I’ve undertaken specialised projects such as wiring up Paramedic vans (Western Cape Paramedics) with their medical equipment and servicing and maintaining their units. I’ve also been involved in maintaining and repairing the equipment for (Base 4), an Aircraft hangar that operates charted flights, training and rescue flights.
Presently, I operate my business Noble Auto Services while concurrently serving as a part-time lecturer at Unitec to Level 3 & 4 full-time students. I also provide evening lectures to industry apprentices on Auto Electrical & Mechanical Repairs Theory & Practical to NZQA standards.
